Park Avenue Drop-in Mornings

We hold an informal Drop-in Morning between 10:00 am and 1:00 pm on the third Thursday in each month.  These sessions are are open to Visually Impaired adults of all ages, genders and ethnic backgrounds, and are held at the Park Avenue Disability Resource Centre, 65c Park Avenue, Bush Hill Park, Enfield, EN1 2HL. Come for a chat; refreshments will be served.

The bus stop close by is known as the 'Saint Stephen's Church' stop and is serviced by the 329 and W8 bus routes.  Bush Hill Park railway station is a short walk from the Centre.  We are sometimes able to arrange transport to these meetings; please telephone the office for availability.

To facilitate the Drop-in activities, a management committee member and volunteers will be present to assist our Visually Impaired visitors.  If you wish, you can take part in seated keep fit exercise by a qualified fitness reflexologist.  A member of Sensory Impaired Team from the London Borough of Enfield will also be present to provide specialist advice and urgent response to Visually Impaired people's queries.  All Visually Impaired people, a relative, friend or carer, are very warmly welcomed.  No appointment is needed.
