Enfield Vision is offering Free Two Day Living with Sight Loss Course in collaboration with London Vision. The course will be held at Community House, 311 Fore Street, Edmonton, London, N9 0PZ on Monday 18th July and Tuesday 19th July 2022 from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm.
London Vision, a charity working for the wellbeing of the blind and partially sighted people in London, is delivering Free Two Day Living with Sight Loss Courses across the capital.
Living with Sight Loss Course is designed to help visually impaired people, their friends and family members face the challenges of life with a sight loss. The course contents were developed by RNIB who delivered the programme for more than 20 years across the UK, alongside local organisations helping visually impaired people.
Attending a Living with Sight Loss Course is a great opportunity for a Visually Impaired Person to boost his/her confidence, giving them an opportunity to meet and share his/her experiences with others in a similar situation.
You'll learn about practical solutions and support that can help you adjust to life with sight loss. The courses provide information about the following issues:
Additionally, the courses provide a space for you to learn from each other's personal experiences and be able to exchange top tips. Light refreshments will be provided during the course.
